There is nothing to worry about it...... Medically girls get their periods around the age of 11 to 15..... So dont worry about it all .
this is the right age to know about it, but nothing to worry and fear about it.
U should really feel happy about this.... let ur mind free and enjoy the childhood dear.... One of my friend didnt get her peirod till the age of 16...... now she is 23.... everything is going good for her.... so dont worry..
If you dont get ur peirod till the age of 17, then U could consult a doctor. Till then enjoy well ur childhood.

Most girls have their first menstrual period between the ages of nine and 16. For the first year or two, periods will probably be irregular; it may not come at the same time every month. A girl can even have her first period and not have another one for months. In most cases, periods become regular (about once a month) within two years of the first period.
Generally, girls can expect a first period about two to three years after the first signs of breast development. There are several things that can affect the onset of menstruation. One thing is genetics. The age when your mother had her first period may be a clue. Your weight may also have an effect—either too thin or too heavy. Athletic girls also tend to start menstruating later.
In the final stages of puberty, young women reach physical, emotional and sexual maturity. They grow to their full height, breasts reach their full size, and girls develop a regular pattern of menstruation.
****(its not bad that you have not gotten it yet, but you should be expecting it soon!)
~Good luck!*****

The average age is between 11-13 but some start later and some start earlier. I started mine at 9 years old, for instance. If you haven't had your period by 16, I'd worry.

i changed into 13. yet I honestly have numerous acquaintances who did not start up until eventually they were 16. once you're in contact about it, you may want to go for your health care professional and word if some thing might want to be incorrect, yet some females only start up later. believe me, do not rigidity that you aren't from now on having a era because the subsequent time you gained't have one will both be once you're pregnant, or menopause. :)

dont worry about it, i started at about 14 1/2. I know exactly what you are going through, i went through the same thing. I felt i was wierd when i was at school and one of my friends said "it is really hard to change a pad in a school bathroom" and thats when it hit me. But honestly, just enjoy the time you have when you dont have to worry about it.
