Would there still be wars? Would there still be hunger? Would there still be sex and reproductions? Would there still be materialistic obsessions? and more.

Ok, so what gives matter its solidity, if so much of it is empty space? Is it because electrons repel each other due to their electric charge?(the Pauli exclusion principle)

A lot of practical problems... your body couldn't even stick together!

The opaqueness of solid objects is due to repelling electric forces between the negatively charged electrons at the outside of all atoms. The Pauli principle plays only an indirect role: it determines the minimum distance of electrons to the nucleus and therefore the size of atoms.

If solids pass through each other, we would not be able to stand on the surface of the Earth. We would fall in to space and die with suffocation. We couldn't even take oxygen cylinders, as our hand will pass through the cylinder but couldn't hold or lift it.
when We couldn't hold anything, where's the question of wars, hunger, reproduction and so on....
just see and enjoy things as long as we are alive :-)
and that may not be for more than few seconds or minutes !
very funny and interesting question. Hope my answer is also reasonable. Dont u think it deserves the best rating then :-)
Good luck. bye

i wouldnt think so. no sex b/c if a guy were to have sex with a woman then the guys private would go straight thru. no hugs cuz u would be just walking thru things. wewouldnt have to worry about doors or cars or any thing of the sort.we could just walk thru walls and fall thru the streets. if solid objects could go thru solid objects then wouldnt we just fall thru the earth and into space? there really wouldnt be any earth left. be a big ball of gas and everyone would be floating into space. kinda crazy if u really think about it.

If solids passed thru one another, we'd all be at the center of the Earth.

There would be no gravity and therefore no existence of mortality, which I almost prefer over eternity. Though that death thing has to be a bummer.
