Whatever you think is best for them - but you might want to make sure that its cheap to insure haha.. and maybe good on gas mileage? Some good examples would be something made from like 1998 on; like a Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix, or a Chevrolet Malibu, Cavalier, or Cobalt. Dodge Stratus' are also really nice cars for teenagers. Here are some more examples: Oldsmobile Alero or Intrigue, Chrysler Sebring, Ford Contour or Focus, or Saturn Ion. If you are considering an SUV.. look into Jeep Grand Cherokee's, Ford Explorers, or Chevrolet Blazers. If you buy something that is foreign, the insurance will cost a lot more. All of these cars are nice, normal, easy-to-insure, and have good gas mileage. I hope you find what you are looking for..Good Luck!

A reliable one. Teenagers with part time jobs have trouble enough with the car payments. If the car breaks down, the teen'd likely have to get a loan from a friend/family member, and be in debt before graduation (:o).

The best car for a teenager is something small, no suvs or large trucks. It's best to go for gas mileage & maintinence first then you can go for style and horsepower. I drive a 04 Mustang myself. Just get something dissently new and in good condition so you can keep it and have no worries when you move on to college.

i might get my toddler a brilliant previous vehicle, despite if I could have it rebuilt. A mid 70's GM or Ford station wagon or an previous Lincoln city vehicle or Crown Victoria. SUVs are no longer any solid - too straightforward to roll over. Small autos are a dying seize, no count number how secure the producer claims they're. If I had a brilliant stash, i might get a brilliant Hummer. If in straightforward terms surplus military tanks have been highway criminal...

Toyota Camry - 4 cylinder. It scores well in safety ratings and it is not fast enough to get a kid in trouble.
