Okay well on the first day of my period my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and now I'm scared of pregnancy. I was wondering if you're any more or less fertile on the first day of your period or just normal? And please no one tell me I shouldn't have had unprotected sex, I know that now.

It's possible but not as likely... Your most fertile day is around 12- 14 days after the first day of your cycle. That's when you would be ovulating assuming that you have an average 28-day cycle.
Now you have to keep in mind that sperm can live in your body for up to 5 days, so if u had unprotected sex 5 days before you ovulated there's still a big chance.
Once you've ovulated, your egg lasts only about 24-48 hours, but that means you can still get pregnant up to 2 days after you've ovulated.
So basically you have about a 7 days window when you're most likely to conceive and since you were on your period, you more then likely were not ovulating and are more then likely you were no where near ovulation, so you should be okay.

My husband and I have had unprotected sex many times while of had my period. Yes you can get pregnant. I don't know the level of fertility. We have a baby now but we didn't conceived during my period times. We have sex about every day even while I have my period. It's hard to say. Good luck

Yes you can still get pregnant while having sex on your period. You can pregnant any time you have sex! Theres really NO SAFE time to have sex with no risk of getting pregnant! Next time be sure to use protection for pregnancy as well as any diseases! Protect yourself and u will feel sooo much better! Keep your fingers crossed that u r not! Good luck

You have more chance getting pregnant 2 weeks before or after your period. During your period you are less likely. Probably a 5% chance. But don't take that chance anymore missy! Protect yourself!

from the first day of your pireod you count 14 days this is your ovelation day you can get PG befor or After that but only by a couple of days.

when gettting your period you have a very low chance of ovulating therefore a low chance of getting pregnant, but it is possible, especially if your menstrational cycle is irregular

its unlikely that u get pregnant because its hard for sperm to swim against the flow but its still possible it only takes 1
