"How do you like my Ferrari?" usually works well, followed by "Would you like to go for a ride?" With some girls, licking your eyebrows can work as well as any words you could say.
More seriously, who broke up with who? If your ex broke up with you, and feels bad about it, you need to get her to talk you up with the best friend. If you broke up with the ex, who is the best friend going to choose, you or your ex?

leave it alone your ex-girls best friend! thats just too much drama!! if anything went wrong with ur relationship with ur ex the best friend will know about it already so think about that!
