I think that green is one of the "natural" colors - created by light, bent, due to waves (prism-like) making the "rainbow" in the sky (atmospheric conditions). Also it's created by the sun via photosynthesis (within plants), using the chemical "chlorophyll". I'm sure there are more causes for it's existence, however, I can't think of them at this time.

It exists because it was created. It's natural purpose, on the other hand, is for chlorophyll in plants used in the process of photosynthesis.

It is one of the most important colors on earth! Without the color green, you and I would never have been born.

Hope that puts it in perspective for you. :-)

Also, I believe the color green is the most easily seen by the human eye.

Because it is contained in the spectrum of visible light. Light hits a surface that is painted green and you see it because all other colors in that light are absorbed. The green light bounces back and you see it. Green exists because all other colors exist. "No" colors is black. "All" colors is white. "Color" as we see it is that portion of the spectrum sliced out of the visible spectrum. The wavelength of light is measured in Angstroms. An Angstrom is a very small distance. Different colors of light have different Angstrom measures.
