nope, absolutely not... I think it is creative and a way of expressing something about yourself that you hold dear. Some people like body art other's don't but it certainly does not make you lower class at all...I got 3 of my own and they rock!

Let me get psychological about this. No it does not make you low class, class comes from the inside not the outside. It has always been by opinion that people who have tattoos usually get them because of some kind of rebellion, usually trying to make a point. That being said, since it is so popular nowadays and more and more people young and old are getting them, it is not so much a rebellious thing. In fact a person probably makes more of a point not having a tattoo. Bottom line...no it does not make you low class....but in my opinion, too many make you look dirty and seedy.

I really depends on your culture and circle of friends.
As some tribes in the world use them as a right of passage and others as markings of shame, you can see that a tattoo can mean different things to different people.
If the Queen of England got a tribal tattoo on her face and neck, I am sure that the whole of planet earth would think it was the MOST ridiculous, classless thing!

No, certainly not. Unfortunately, there still are people who think you're a good for nothing if you have a tattoo, but personaly I don't think that's true. I don't have one, but just because I don't want to, because I can't find something to have on my skin for the rest of my life. But my boyfriend has three of them and he's a great guy. A great guy who loves tattoos and maths :))

The problem is that the type of people who get tattoos (for the most part) are on the fringes of society (bikers, trailer trash, drug dealers), as perceived.
Many "regular" people have tattoos as well, so it is a perception problem.
A lot depends on the size and type of tattoo and where it is located.

You shouldn't be judged in that way but I believe that some people will automatically think less of you if they see a tattoo.
But the same people will probably think the same of you if your skin is a different color so I wouldn't concern myself too much about what "they" think.

No, it depends what the picture is, how well it's done and where on your body it is. If you want one, get it done by someone who's really good and be willing to pay for the skill. Also think about all the options and plan what you're going to have done so that you won't regret it if you have any doubts. Have fun!

no, but if you have a face tattoo it may be harder to get a job, which might then put you in low class.

people may very well put you in that category as you age, so its best not to gum up your skin with visible tatoos. If you've had them already and don't like them you can have them removed by lasic surgery. Some organizations provide them for free, especially if they are gang related and you aren't in the gang anymore(an insentive to keep you out). Its tacky. I personally don't like them and honestly would not date someone with one, unless they were given one by force, against ones will. Get a fake one that lasts for a week if you want to have fun with your skin.
