Has anyone ever seen baby box turtles anywhere in Virginia? 10 points to whoever tells me where to find them. And don't bother telling me not to take them out of the wild, because I wont.

I would go to one of their shows & see if there are any box turtle breeders there.

Finding baby boxies in the wild is rare. You mainly see adults.

Please do not take or buy wild box turtles

LOL! People almost NEVER see baby boxies ANYWHERE. They are incredibly camoflagued and their lifestyles make it almost impossible to find them until they get bigger and slower.

They will spend most of their first year hiding from predators- and doing a really good job of it!

They are very hard to find I have only seen Two. They hide in tall grass mostly. I acctually live in maryland but the same situations apply in virginia. Both times I have seen them they were in grass. One time it was in a yard in the tall grass off to the side the other time it was in a patch of grass in the middle of the woods.
Hope you find one good luck
