Let me add some details folks:
1) I'm not an idiot, I'm asking what the financing process is like NOT if I should GET them reduced.

2) I'm not over weight, and my breast began developing when I was 9, so this is not a weight problem.

3) I already know my situation is medically neccesary I process claims for a medical insurance company, so I know what I'm talking about. I want answers from people who have financed this procedure.
4) It's not about posture, I work around dotcors and they've told me that back problems related to women with large chest are STRICTLY related to their chest size. I'm a 36 DD, and I'm 55, and I'm not over weight, I have excellent posture because I used to dance, so please don't tell me your little home remedies. And it's not about my bra because at 36DD you HAVE to buy good bras, cheap stores don't sell your size.

What are your chances of getting a job with benefits while you have back problems? If the chances are good and the back pain isn't too bad, waiting might be a good idea.

Question - if large breasts is a documented cause or contributing factor to your back pain, and breast reduction surgery is the only way to ease the condition, that may not be considered cosmetic surgery. That may hold greater legitimacy. Talk to you doctor and, when you have an insurance carrier, talk to them as well. This isn't like going in for liposuction so you can fit into a bikini. This is to take unnecessary pressure off your back for health reasons.

Well, it kind of depends on how much pain you are in. If you decide to wait until you have insurance, you need to find out before accepting the job if the plan they offer you covers a breast reduction. If they do, how much of the costs are you responsible for. Also, there are places like CareCredit that can help. good luck.

It all depends on how much your back hurts...if you have insurance they will usually pay for it due to it being medically necessary because of your back....they would rather pay for that than all the medical bills that you would be giving them for back treatments...some doctors do accept payments..you'd have to ask yours if you want to do the surgery now....but if you know you're getting another job soon with benefits then wait...it all comes down to how much pain you're in and how long you could wait for it to be taken care of...

A friend of mine had this done...it is major medical surgery, not considered cosmetic at all. Insurance will pay if it is documented that you are having back issues. Yes, you will want insurance...it is many many many times more expensive than breast enhancement surgery and way more complex.

I am a 36D with good posture, and no back problems – so I know what I am talking about.

Big boobs do not cause back problems. Some girls with big boobs who have back problems claim that their boobs are the source of their problems, however, there are – statistically – just as many girls with small boobs and men who also have back problems.

Big boobs CAN contribute to a back problem if a girl is not wearing a properly fitting bra AND there is a cause for a back problem, such as some sort of trauma, or poor posture. That is to say that if you are a girl with a back problem, you should not blame your boobs – you should blame your posture, or your ill-fitting bra.

If a girl with big boobs has back problems, and she straitens up her posture and gets a properly fitting, properly supportive bra, most if not all of her back problems will eventually fade away... AND her bra will not “dig” into her shoulders, or otherwise hurt.

Since breast are primarily fat the doctor will first have you go on a diet before he/she does any surgery. I would ask that you go on a diet for several weeks and then see if your back problems are going away.
