Don't most people answer questions hoping the asker will actually read it and decide on the best? Voters don't always read all the answers and don't usually care.

I always do it as soon as I can, just so I dont' forget to choose a best answer lol

I try to decide for myself but if there are a lot of great answers I'll send it to vote. I guess it's just wishful thinking that others will read all of the answers and be fair and balanced.

Sometimes I resolve the questions because there are so few amswers and each time I check they are just stagnating so I resolve them.
Perhaps it isn't fair to the voters (thats another question) but it's obvious my question wasn't striking a chord. So I take care of it.

I agree. When I answer a question I expect to see that persons opinion on it... But it's OK to put it to vote when you really can't decide what's the best answer...

ive answered my own often because some of the answeres you get from some ignorent people on here arent worth reading there to stupid,and childish
