How are the citizens dealing with the serial shooter(s), rapist.
I'm from the DC area and lived through the serial sniper mess. The best way I could describe it to a friend in Seattle, Wash. Is it's unnerving. How are you holding up?

I work in the location of the baseline rapist. a lady in the building next to me was taken in the same parking lot that i park in everyday and raped and murdered.
Most women around that area are terrified. I've not heard much about the serial shooter though. Just a few things on TV.
Not that we have a choice to deal with it or not, so we're just kind of going day by day.
I do know, that I am terribly afraid of the baseline rapist. Just because I know that I am a target as well.

We're all just trying to stay in large groups, or with males, and not be alone at night. It's the only thing you can do.

I have to say, that is ONE reason we moved from the Phx area
1 1/2 yrs ago. The crime has been going up up up and the population of people has grown 200%. We resided in Gilbert AZ for 25 yrs which is suburbs of Phx and about 30 miles from Sky Harbor airport in Phx. I can say knowing many there in AZ in all this metro of Phx. they are ALL on edge at ALL times of the day anywhere, even in their homes. They are watching over their shoulder and watching out for others around them as well. This serial person seems to strike at ANYTIME in front of ANYONE in the middle of the day!.
Lets pray that they catch them all soon!!! Where we live now we dont even have to lock our doors. What a difference moving out of there can make. It really has gotten BAD and for the children and the schools as well, even in the more upscale areas such as Gilbert AZ. The baseline serial rapist/killer must be caught along with the few others that are doing some bad things as well.

This thing has not unnerved the majority of Phoenicians because it seems to be limited to one of the worst areas of town, where I wouldn't be caught outdoors at night under any circumstances. There is very little talk of it in the rest of Phoenix. Of course, we hope these guys are caught soon and there are no more victims.
