another war...the very thought of it is so repulsive.....its gonna kill the economy for sure.....oil prices....securities....forget about human lives....i guess theres no value of human life anymore.....coz if life is all about war, maybe then theres no "LIFE & LIVING" in it...it loses its "living" worth,...
donno what else....gonna make Asia more unstable....
can't these fellows talk things out...haven't they heard of the word "reason" and "negotiation"??
hope...this war never happens.....

The rest of the world is watching, but that doesn't mean the rest of the world will get into a war over it. Hopefully the rest of the world can work together to help them find a solution.
Israel left that area because it wanted to stop "occupying," and then Lebanon did not or could not reoccupy the space because the extremests moved in.
Both countries have fought over those areas for thousands of years, and cannot figure out how to divy it up. They both say they own this and that. Perhaps this recent conflict shows that both countries are responsible for all the areas there, and both their peoples, regardless of who "owns" them or what.
The Lebanese government is weak, but Israel's is stronger. Perhaps they can get together and make one even stronger united country, where both can own it all, and both can reap the benefits of cooperating with each other.
It is obvious that Israel cannot just leave the area and turn it's back on Lebanon to fend for itself. Both countries and peoples have alot more in common and alot more at stake than either realizes, and both countries will have to take responsibility in governing the areas together as one country. They will need a little outside help, sure, but mostly in helping to keep everyone else out.

i hope that Hezbollah will be exterminated from the map
terrorists cannot live in peace
once removed, we can rebuilt our country (Lebanon)
and be deliberated from any exterior influence such as Syria
Hezbollah started the war to prove that Lebanon cannot live without them fighting on the borders but they are wrong they destroyed my country without permission without informing the government claiming that they wanted back two soldiers kidnapped in 1975 by the Israeli that why they kidnapped NOW in 2006 two Israeli
my opinion may be different from other answerers because I'm a Lebanese citizen and i believe that no other foreign interference can help Hezbollah except supporting them with ammo . Syria and Iran have a lot of cowardiness to help Hezbollah in a Lebanese war
as u can see on TV everyone knows how to talk but no one knows how to act . Too bad
in weeks fire will be ceased. no one will interfere as usual
and Lebanon will be rebuilt as it happened in the past 20 years of war with Syria

I think what Isreal did was wrong .. But, i can understand the history between lebanon and Isreal in the past .. Is it necessaryfor Isreal to start a war to stop a mess.. They are making a big mistake and it makes the problem even BIGGER than what it is .. IM sure USA will not be interested to support the war becz of issues that we all went through earlier .. soo .... What you all think? WHos right of which GOD? ALLAH or GOD?? If allah is one GOD . OR God is like an ALLAH. Or GOD is one GOD with different labels to name him. why are they doing this for ? DID GOD permits it or is it MANKIND to start the war.. I know its not witnessed in god's eyes to see this ugly mess.. AGAIN. IS it the will from GOD? I say NO! Its a mankind with POWER and Victory .. Jews are considered NOMAD !!! So, they should not go against god .. THEY STILL GO against GOD and JESUS for years and years .. Look at what is happening .. how can it be true religions BETWEEN THEM

the war between thses two countries is centuries old...thats a fact, they have always and will always hate each other.
As for inluence, well, I personally reckon this is it...the big one, this could be the beginning of WW3. which, ultimately means the end of the world as we know it. When it comes down to throwin missiles you gotta know its bad. so if i was you id start stocking up on candles, tinned food, and other non perishables, maybe a subT dugout of some sort would be handy too. I know this sounds paranoid/ prophet of doomish, but im serious. This is the big one folks, best be prepared for the worst.

Well I thing it is not right whatever Israel is doing with Lebanon right now. I know Israel has to defend herself but it dos not mean that they have to go and destroy another country; no civilian should die because of Hezbollah and Israel it is a crime against humanity.
