why do people date outside their race and animals don't?

why do people date outside their race and animals don't? why white girls date black boys bla bla bla etc...and animals don't mix? like lions don't mix with jaguars etc...why?

to those who said people are human beings and animals are species,i've seen a "human white girl" having sex with a horse on the internet! but the horse wasn't having sex with the girl,the girl was having sex with the horse,she was taking control of everything! funny huh lol? i guess the human being mix with anything that walks...

There is really no such thing as different races in humans, scientifically. It is more of a political and cultural concept that separates one person to another based on facial traits and skin color. Other than that, we are all basically the same, aside from minute biological mutations.

With that aside, animals do "date" or better yet, mix outside their race. For example, to make a mule, a male donkey and a female horse has to get it on. Furthermore, for those who seen Napoleon Dynamite, may remember the mystical creature, the Liger. Contrary to what the movies says, Ligers aren't magicial. In fact, they are real. You get a Liger from a male lion and a female tiger. A Likewise, a Tigon is created when a male tiger and a female lion mates.

If that doesn't answer your question, then I guess the simple comparsion would be cats and dogs. You can mate a bulldog with a pitt and get a pittbull.

Because human basically have the same genetic material, so creating offspring isn't a problem. However, with animals, it's different. Even though an animal may be related, their genetic make up differs slightly.

For example, it is possible for lions and tigers to breed, however, their offspring can often be deformed because the number of chromosomes between the species is different. This is why when horses and donkeys breed, their offspring cannot create more offspring.

Lions don't mix with jaguars because they are different species. All races of people belong to the same species, homo sapiens. You can't compare the two. A brown lion and a white lion would "date" but many brown and white people wouldn't.

OK, well you're confusing race with species. Animal don't mix species(at least not often) and neither do humans. Like, dogs of different breeds can still reproduce.

Because there is a differance between race and species. A better way to look at it would be at the differant breeds of dogs. Of course, differant breeds of dog mate and have puppies all the time.

There is nothing wrong with dating outside your race. I'm Irish, and my boyfriend is Taiwaniese. We're very happy. :p

A good question, but slightly flawed. Although in the same genus Lions and jaguars are of different species. Humans are all homo sapiens regardless of skin color - we are all 'one race, the human race'.

Two different things animals arent race they are species! Humans are humans period. I have dogs and my dogs cant stand birds,rodents,fowl,or felines. But they love dogs. We rae human and the only difference in us is how we speak,the pigmentation of our skin and the foods we eat. Birds fly,fish swim, and HUMANS LOVE!! Period!!! When will we grow out of these categories?

Lions and jaguars are different species, not different races. We don't date chimps or gorillas. Dogs will breed with each other no matter that they are different breeds is a better example, or fresh-water otters will breed with salt water otters.
