All right I want to know who liked it, who didn't, reasons, be detailed, be whatever. Just tell me.
I liked the movie but I found the script to be rather boring...it seemed like Kate Winslet and Leonardo D. weren't matched right - she seemed too old for him, like he was 12 yrs old or something. I also found it weird that they kept saying each other's names repeatedly. Every 5 minutes it was like, "Jack! I won't let you go Jack!" And then "Rose! Oh Rose! Rose, don't leave me. Rose, don't let go." 'Oh Jack, I won't let go."
HAHAHA Come on people, talk to me here.

I agree, they didnt match as a couple,Jack looked way too young! I thought Kate was perfect for the role as Rose but i think they should have got someone else to play Jack.

I hated the movie. I went in thinking it was going to be about the Titanic and it was just about Leo's and Kate's characters. Give me a break. And the bad part about is, when they did put factual stuff in the movie which was at the end, some girls behind me ruined it for me. For example, the band played until the boat sank. That's what was reported to have happened. Then these girls behind me went, "Oh my gosh. Like quit playing. The boat is sinking stupid. Nobody's listening." That got me a little upset. So when old Jack was let go by Rose into the icy depth, I clapped and cheered. Ahhh, revenge is best served cold.

Overall the movie was good. I do agree with you that Kate Winslet and Leonardo weren't a good match. Not only did her look too young, but he was a little to scrawny for her. She matched better with Billy Zane. Yeah, the movie was a bit too dramatic. I think what made the movie great were the special effects.

I like it. I didn't really find it boring. The first time I saw it I thought she seemed too old to be matched with him. Mind you, that being said, Leo has always looked and seemed younger to me. After watching it several times though you realize they were matched perfectly according to their characters. Jack was fun, outgoing, and lived life and Rose was beyond her years, who needed to loosen up and live life instead of letting it pass her by with things that did not matter and the young boy who lived on the edge succeeded in teaching her to do that. Basically the movie has grown on me. I think James Cameron did a phenomenal job. As for the repeating name thing, if someone you know gets hurt or is dying you do tend to repeat their name continuously. I find anyhow, especially when you are scared and they are unconscious. Anyhow I think I'm done.

I think the academy awards summed it up well. It was entertaining and had a l
lot of good effects, costuming and sets. However, the acting and writing were horrible. That is why the movie itself won awards, but none of the actors won any awards for the movie

For what it was...it was a great movie....entertaining, cool special effects....great human drama. I agree with you ...script was a little lame, seems like they could have done better than the stereotypical rich girl falls for guy from wrong side of the track.... (pretty in pink period piece)

I didn't like it because I was upset when people in the theater were shocked that the boat sank at the end. How can that take you by surprise, it shouldn't, if you're aold enough to see the movie you should have heard of the story

I love that movie, but I haven't watched it since it came out. Although, I memorized it after watching it twice and watched 10,000 times before I got bored with it.

It was one of the worst movies I ever saw. I was very disappointed in it. Probably had something to do with the fact that DiCaprio is a horrible actor.
