I feel that women should play basketball, for fun, but not for a career. I may sound like a sexist, but I am 100% woman. I think that the WNBA is ridiculous. I cannot and will never watch a WNBA a game. It is horrible. I play better than them and trust me I'm not that great. I do however enjoy and love the NBA. The WNBA is just not as good and entertaining as the NBA. I feel that women should play basketball, but I don't think they deserve their own league and that the league should be televised that much.

WHO SAID THAT?????? I love to goof around and play basketball, i have a bunch of friends on the girls basketball team and even a girl friend that was better then some guys on the basketball team, the coach actually kicked a guy off the team and replaced him with one of my girl friends

Girls should play whatever sports they want, but men's basketball and women's basketball might as well be different games.
Watching women's basketball the difference in athleticism and raw power means that the shooting percentage in the women's game is significantly lower. This really emphasizes the value of assists and offensive rebounds. While the shooting isn't as good, I enjoy watching a women's point guart who can see the floor and create layups and other high percentage shots. the same goes for women's power forwards who can find good positioning for rebounds.
There's no reason, from a physical standpoint, that women shouldn't play basketball. But, a woman who plays it should realize they can't play in the same way as LeBron, and instead play in a way that makes them effective.

Of course girls should play basketball. If we want to play basketball, we should be able to. Its our right and if you have the chance, i say play the game

I`m a girl..And I love basketball but..
The Wnba just ain`t interesting to me..I don`t enjoy watching sweaty girls play sports at all. I've never watched a sport that has involved a woman playing.

as a girl who loves basketball and is member of many teams girls should play basketball there is no way we should not be allowed, and girls if you are ever told that you cant play just tell me and ill show them girls can play, beacuse we can.
