Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.

But that is our SOLAR SYSTEM, not the galaxy. The solar system is our Sun and its planets. The galaxy is a collection of billions of stars of which our sun is only one.

Ok, you do realize that everyone who said Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto may have gotten the SOLAR SYSTEM right(it depends it you want to cound Sedna, beyond Pluto which has not been officially classified as yet), but they stopped there and didn't list every planet in the GALAXY. Dude, I don't have even close to enough characters left to type all the identified planets (named off the stars they orbit) let alone the unidentified ones!

Let's see: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Uranus, Xenon, Andromeda, Milky Way: of which there exists multitudes of constellations including: Orion, (the lady in the rocking chair), Aquarius, Capricorn, Pisces, Aries, Cancer, Gemini, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, etc.; now add in Chinese Zodiac star signs, (you get the picture)? It keeps unfolding like a never ending wrapper of information and knowledge, just like our universe with all it's potentially trillions of galaxies!
