That might be a little over the top.
You can express your enthusiasm and note that you've been "training" for this w/ your past experience. Then you might say something like, "It's exciting to think that I can actually see my past efforts pay off and come together with this position..."

The idea of what you want to say is right on target, but the words need some adjusting.
I would say something along the lines of "Not only do I feel I am qualfied for the job and would make an excellent employee, but it is also the kind of work I truly want to do."
The KEY here is to show the employer that you'd be good at it and it's what you want to do. Over-enthusiasm = desperation in the minds of an interviewer, so you have to tone it down a notch, while still coming across as though you want it.
My way accomplishes this. But be sure to put things into YOUR OWN words to reflect your own personality.

Be careful that you don't come across as if you will do "ANYTHING for this job". You will sell yourself short in the salary department. Instead, focus on why your experience makes you perfect for the job. There is nothing wrong with saying something like - "I am very excited about the prospect of working for your company. I can see myself still working and helping this company grow 5 to 10 years from now, and I think that we will be a great fit."
Hope that helps!

I think it would be better to say that this job is has the qualities and expectations that I had hoped to be at in this point in time in my life - or that I aspired to obtain at this point with the abilities I've acquired -- to call it the dream job is a little over the top! When they ask the typical, however ridiculous it is, what do you see yourself doing in five years? Reply, improving every day on the talents I have now. This doesn't imply you would stay where you are or that you would ever need to leave that job.

Try rewording "dream job" into "ideal job" and "This is a job I've wanted for awhile. It is my ideal job." I think this will sound better to the employer. "And five years from now, I want to be doing this except in a higher position with more responsiblity." This shows 1) you really like the the position 2) you have some ambition and are willing to work hard
Good luck.

Here is the tip - you have to let them know that YOU ARE THE BEST and that they need exactly what you have. remember that you are not only trying to sell yourself for the highest price, but the company is trying to buy the best person. So act like one. Show them that you are the best and you might be a little hard to get. They are interested to get person as much as you are interested to get the job. It is interest in both ways. So do your best, be calm and respectful, take your time before answering questions, show your interest by asking questions as well. Keep conversation going and you will be fine!
Good luck!

yes, they already see on your app and your resume your qualifications but they cant see how you feel about the job, so by expressing to the employer that this is your dream job they know you are serious about the job and you will be willing to do whatever it takes to get to where you want to be. that also tells them that you will work hard for them because its your dream and you wouldn't want to do anything that would cause you to lose the job. plus employers now days are also looking for people that they can trust are going to be with them and not quit for something else that comes their way.

Yes, because the interviewer will probably ask you why do you to work for their company? Than you will have a chance to say and tell him or her about your passions for this job. Good luck! hope you get it!

Being enthusiastic about a job is not bad....you're prospective employer should know that you're excited about the job they're hiring.

I wouldn't say that, they will think you are too junior, what you want isn't important to them, you need to convince them you are the right person for the job.
