Christopher Reeve! Its a shame he isn't alive to see this remake i reckon he would have loved it. may his soul rest in peace xx
I enjoyed all the old superman movies with him in it he was a brilliant actor his even tho he was put into a wheel chair due to his accident he still carried on working. without a doubt one of the best actor to ever be around

Christopher Reeve is the definitive Superman no question about that,however it is a different time now that it was nearly 30 years ago when the first movies hit the big screen.
In the modern day of cinema and t.v. i think Dean Cain was hampered by the way the show was set out,he couldn't be the bumbling Clark Kent we all know and love because he had to be with Lois and for that to be real Clark's character had to be strong and confident or the audience would never buy it.
Now Tom Welling in Smallville,this guy is brilliant as Clark Kent the teenager,the show is fantastic,it's as good as anything on t.v. really i think it's that good.My only suprise is that he was not asked to play Clark/Superman in the movie and as for Brandon Routh i can't comment on him because i have not seen the movie yet,but if the movie is as good as the trailers and the hype then i won't be dissapointed

Brandon Routh is a good Clark Kent but Christopher Reeves is the best
and we can't forget about the original Superman George Reeves who's death is still unsolved and Ben Afflect is playing him in a movie

Christopher Reeves, Brandon Routh doesn't even come close when trying to act nerdy as Clark or manly as Superman.

Christopher Reeves was my favourite as Superman, but if I had to be locked in a room with any of them it would be Brendan Routh any time.
