Not really. Because I myself have tried several times with number of scientific research reports, but nobody has ever come with the possibility of existence of "soul mates". However, there are lots of fellows (including myself) believe in the science of soul mate.

Read Philip Pullman's Dark Trilogy, it will blow your mind...

There is some scientific interest in Twinned electron involvement over long distances....they have found that if two electrons 'bound' to each other are seperated using very big and clever machines: they test one of the electrons which is sperateed by miles from the other and the twinned one actually reacts as if it is getting tested on...

THey are saying it could be the genesis of a new way of thinking, as there are possibilities of teleportation and lots of other potentials coming out of the same ideas...

To answer your question though, no: but things are starting to point in that direction...
