It was a choice between two evils, and Kerry is far more evil than Bush.

Unfortunately, a large portion of Americans, who can legally vote, don't vote. Each year, the percentage of Americans who show up at the poll is steadily dwindling. Currently, it is at a all time low with a little over 50% of qualified voters showing up at the poll. And of those who do show up at the polls, they are predominately come from upper and middle class families. They tend to vote for the Republican party because the party is conservative and the party caters to the rich. The Republican party and President Bush support halting or drastically reducing immigration, giving tax incentives to large corporations, centralizing the government (i.e. more power to the federal government than the state government) and extended power to the executive branch of the government (e.g. NSA wiretapping on Americans without a warrant). A solution is to have voters, who come from the lower class families, legal aliens and minorities, to show up at the polls and make their voice heard. There are a number of programs which try to educate these groups of people about the law and government. Some have had success but a lot of them haven't.

Because they didn't know any better and they loved listening to the fool mispronounce words. I bet if they were able to do it over again they wouldn't vote for the idiot. Actually, in 2000 we didn't choose him - we chose Al Gore, but because of his crooked brother - the Governor of Florida - and the antiquated electoral college - he got appointed - not elected, but appointed. If Al Gore had been allowed to serve, Bush would just be a footnote in history books. Now he's going to occupy a couple of pages as being the Absolute Worst President in History.

I'm with "therandman" on this one! I voted for Bush and I would do it again if I could. He is not afraid to kick some butt! If he tried to make every person happy he would ALWAYS fail! Because no matter what a person does someone else will hate it. I'm happy we are in this war...well not happy! But I think its good for the people over there to get a good life. As for all the people who say they didn't vote for him. Maybe YOU didn't but over half of the US did. That means there are more fans of his then there are not. So grow up and move to Iraq if you don't like the US!

To many reasons to list but here's an example you can apply universally even to jobs products politicians religion etc. that explains this phenomenon.
Person 1 sees a way (loophole) to make easy money (marketing/lying) with/using Person 2 (talented/altruistic or not). By selling to/victimizing Person 3, which Person 1 sees as prey. Problem is that Persons 1,2 and 3 are (a society that some knowingly, some in personal denial of such knowledge but all know) are the/in decay. Meet your new and improved god CONTROL. "Those who have no self control try to control others, those with self control try to teach it to others."

This American didn't choose Bush in either election. This American lives in Texas, the state Bush use to govern. I know how badily he screwed up my own one state...I wasn't about to give him 49 more to play with.

You mean a real man, who has stood up to the terrorist and tackled all the hard issues that liberals deflect. He is there because the majority of the American people are sick & tired of the spineless, appeaseing, non confrontational, whining denmocraps. He's hated, disliked, dispised, attacked, sued, and made fun of - which all means he is doing his job and I support him & administration.

All Kerry ran on is the fact that he served in Vietnam. Should everyone who served in a war become president????
