the thing is I sighned up for a free sony vaio laptop on a random advertisement ..but I regretted it because it slowed down my internet connection speed from 8MBPs to 1MBPS. and Ive been getting more pop up ads and running into more and more computer malfunctions ...Please help this is extremely important...

I already did a virus check ..no virus found...
Ive had a router fire wall and a windows firewall both running during this entire process..

Do this.
Download spybot search and destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/
Next download Lavasoft Adaware: http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10399602.html?tag=lst-0-6
Next go to: www.microsoft.com and download windows defender.
Install and update all three. Run them in the same order shown.
You will notice 1 program will catch a couple. The next program will catch more. And the final program will usually show none.

I use K9 Web Protection. There are alot of programs that are free that can detect spyware. My Norton Virus, has a spyware blocker too. Just do a Google search for the program I mentioned. It is Free!

Do an internet search for freeware called "Ad-Aware." Don't forget the "-" between "Ad" and "Aware".
It's free and is an excellent first step. Along with Spybot, which someone already recommended, it should identify any threats on your computer.

If you have spyware already on your computer that's causing you troubles, a free program called Ad-Aware will take care of it. It's easy-breezy to use.
I highly recommend a virus scanner called Avast! Seriously, if anything nasty tries to install on your comp. it'll stop it dead.

If you still want to delete these two program then go to Control panel and click on add/remove program. click on the the program and hit ok/remove.
