Did you hear the one about....

Teasing... I have a great sense of humor. Our society has become very serious but It is all about choice. I choose to be the same funny, creative person in every environment I live in. I think too many people choose to be a different person based on the environment they are in. Example working in a corporate environment (I am humorous)...raising 2 children (You have to find humor)...a friend to many (they think I am funny) etc....

In the words of James Taylor.... "The secret to life is enjoying the passage of time"

And from an unknown source... "My goal in life is to be the oldest kid on the block because growing old is inevitable...growing up is optional".

YAHOO.....let the games begin!! :)

It is not that people lack a sense of humor, it is that the world has just become too serious. It has been said "The funniest thing about life, is there is nothing funny about life anymore".
There are too many folks consumed with concern for their own petty lives, that they fail to see that NO ONE gets out of here alive. Once you realize your going to die, then humor is easy to see everywhere, especially in the seriousness of those who are trying to hold on to the lame existence that they think they possess.
To me there is nothing funnier than someone who takes them self too seriously, for they are just fools.

Do you really think that is true- that no one has a sense of humor anymore?

I think that being PC may limit the subject matter of jokes...but I'm not all that concerned about being PC. "I don't give no rats @ss about that."

Do you mean folks here specifically on 'answers'? Well, there are still some people who make fun of others, crack yokes (jokes), etc. I do it all the time. Half the questions I ask are half-baked, crass, and silly.

I think so. Even on here people get a$$ hurt if you give a smart remark. If you listen to old comedy shows back 15-20 years ago. You would NEVER get away with that today but it was so much funnier then today's comedians. Because they have to be politically correct. Cry Babies ruin everything.

How dare you. humorousness! Ohmigod, i won't be ready to have faith it! we try to have a serious talk and you like humor? Did you pay attention the single on the subject of the poultry that throughout elementary terms went halfway around the line? She needed to "Lay it on the line." .
