I'm using this sunblock called Banana Boat Maximum Sunblock which has an SPF of 50. I have been using it most of the summer. Even though, it provides sun protection for my skin, I think it is clogging my pores which is giving me some acne trouble.
I have alot of blackheads on my face and regular zits. Lately since using this Sunblock. Is it the sunblock I'm using that is causing me the acne? If so, can anyone reccomend a good sunblock SPF 30 or higher that does not clog the pores?

I know you want SPF 30 or higher but I suggest just using a separate sunblock for your face if the sunblock is giving you acne trouble. I use Coppertone Oil Free Waterproof Sunscreen Lotion SPF 8, but they may have it in a higher SPF. It says right on the front of the bottle, won't clog pores or cause breakouts!
I like it a lot! Hope this helps!

Hi, go to www.wonderful.myarbonne.com and check out their Before Sun line. They have a SPF 15 and 30. I personally use the 30 and works great! I am very sensitive to the sun due to medication I take and this product totally protects me and I haven't had any breakout. It takes very little of this product and it isn't heavy on your skin like so many others. Good luck to you.

You definitely need to try Clinique's
Super City Block Oil-Free Daily Face Protector SPF 40
High-level daily sun protection in a sheer, weightless formula. Wear alone or as an invisible under-makeup primer. I wear this everyday and love it.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

There are special sunblocks that don't clog your pores, check the labels. I use neutrogena and it's very light. My dermatologist recommended me helioblock sunblock.

I'm not sure of any brands, but look for ones that say non-comedigenic (I think that's how you spell it). Anyway, that just means it doesn't clog pores.

i use coppertone water babies uva/uvb protection sunblock stick on my face. it has SPF 30 (it may come higher). it's gentle, non-irritating, fragrance free, PABA free, hypoallergenic, non-stinging, noncomedogenic, and water proof.

workes great on my skin, never had any problems with it.

it's pretty cheap too.
