Your best bet to get rid of it is to try a system restore point, which I hope you have XP. go to start ; all programs ; accessories ; system tools ; then click system restore, it makes restore points every now and then, restore it to before you clicked run for the program you downloaded. If that doesnt work, try going into control panel and look through your programs and see if there is anything that looks like the program your talking about, and uninstall it. If that doesnt work, try manually finding it in your hard drive, you can use the search feature and check by last download and other things like that. If that doesnt work, you can always format and unpartition your hard drive and reinstall windows, hope this helps. email if you want more detail on any of the above.

What kind of virus blocker do you have??? I have Norton Antivirus and everytime I get a virus I go to the Norton antivirus website and describe the virus and they tell me what kind of virus it is, and how to remove it manually or automatically and the best thing is that you don't have to have a Norton antivirus program to go to the website, just go to http://www.symantec.com or http://www.norton.com
