Me. (retired/no pay so it's not much of a gamble on my part)
I'm starting a new party. SPLATT (note the name). It stands for Stop PLATe Tectonics.
Our platform is to eliminate earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis.
Our mascots are the flatworm and squash.
Theme songs: "Shake, Rattle and Roll", "Whole Lot of Shaking Going On", "I Fell the Earth Move Under My Feet", "Hunka Burning Love"

I'm not much of a betting man but I don't think Hillary C. has a very good chance and I don't think the Republicans can put up anyone that would have large voter appeal except for maybe John McCain. McCain may not have the support of party to get this done though. Anyone this administration puts up will have problems winning due to the general dissatisfaction everyone, except the hard core Republic base, has with it. Depending on what he does in the next few years Senator Barack Obama from Illinois does seem to have promise though. If he is able to get his name out and get the support of the party he could have a very good shot. He just recently visited Iowa so it appears he is perhaps starting to campaign for 08. I'm a Republican and I would definitely consider voting for him.

I think America will elect the lowest common denominator, whichever it is from either party. Hillary Clinton, or John McCain. Neither try to make a real difference, and they both suckle the media's teat.
I would like to have someone opinionated and driven. Chuck Shumer, or Bill Frist. But neither will happen.

Well, I don't know, but I would give my years pay to BE president. Of course it would be a big cut in pay, but I'll make it up on the speaking tour.

I wouldn't bet on it, I thought Bush was a shoe in to lose in 04 but with him owning the voting machines he fooled me.
