People kill each other for silly reason or another , wars every where , countries do their best to find the secret of atomic bombs .
But what about peacful people ?

The people would only be peaceful until they found something to disagree on. War is human nature.

First you must develop the technology that will move a large group of people to a world they can live on. So far we have ONE planet that will support life - the one we're on.
Work on fixing problems here rather than running from them. Otherwise the people you are trying to get away from will just follow you.

What makes you think that humans can pick up and move to another place...an Earth 2..and not bring these things with them? How would we 'prevent' the repetition of the dangers and 'silly''-ness wherever we might go? Is it time? NO...we're far from being that evolved.

I, for one, believe that this is the main reason for trying to explore space. There are other sentient beings out there, though they may be entirely different from us. It is time for us to leave, but there is no place to go. We are destroying ourselves day in and day out, and leaving would be looked upon as trying to be God, trying to save lives that shouldn't be saved. For those of you who don't believe it, think about it.

People cannot guarantee that future people will be peaceful. Violence and evil are always choices, and running away doesn't do anything. Also, spelling is scary too.
