Blood test are pretty much 100% accurate if you are sure of youv ovulation date. Positive blood tests can show up in as little as 10 days after ovulation. But if you haven't ovulated yet, or you ovulated yet, the best thing to do is wait another week to ten days and test again.

If you haven't ovulated yet, you still have a chance of getting pregnant, or if you ovulated really late, the blood test might not have been accurate.

Good luck.

I had to miss 2 periods before any test came up positive. I cant count how many home tests i took and i got blood tests done 3 times. I finally was sent in for a sonogram and was told i was pregnant. Still no idea why it wasnt showing up on the tests till later. Get a sonogram, if your really unsure.

My docotr took a blood attempt on me and it confirmed a "faint" effective, yet my abode being pregnant checks lit up immediately! lus I surely were charting and KNEW i changed into pregnant. He tried to inform me my dates were off and that i wasnt as far alongside as i presumed. I KNEW he changed into incorrect. i changed into uncomfortable with him no longer believeing me and that i switched docs. seems i changed into accurate!
