Love isn't just a feeling. It is something you act out. Love is something that is shown. You can choose to love someone, or choose to not love them. When you make this decision to love someone, you have to act it out (ever hear the phrase "love is a verb"?).
You can know you've decided to love someone when their feelings and well-being are more important to you than your own are.
Don't listen to people who tell you that you need to date other people to know if you're in love with someone. That will just hurt their feelings, and you may lose the person you want to be with.

You feel you are inlove when you don't know how to act, in front of that person. If you mess up, you might feel embarrassed. You have a feeling that is not explainable, you sometimes you can't stop thinking about her/him, doesn't matter. You just want her to know you are there. You want to be with her, but you might not know the perfect words to say, but don't try to be another person she should like you for who you are, if she doesn't see that you are a great person and she is only looking at the outside, but not the inside, she doesn't know you well. But just give yourselves some time to know each other then you will know.

3. There is a noticeable spring in your steps and there is a song in your heart
4. You relate everything and anything wonderful to the person you love.

It when that special person is always on your mind. When meet up somewhere and you have smile on yourself. Its when you touch each other and you just don't ever want to pull away. Also its when that person makes you mad as hell and yet you love them unconditionally.

try dating another person...or looking for other people...and if all you can think about w/ other person is the person you think your in love with...then..yea...you get the idea
