What a sad moment
I don't think there was anything rong (texan for wrong) with what he did.
It is the presidents job being a strong leader and protecting the Redpublicans from the liberal agenda. Nixon did this better than any other president,
When the blues were holding the majority in Congress demanding better labor laws. Nixon formed the EPA to force industry to close factory's and make those looser blue collar people pay for their unthankfulness.
Nixon was a ensign of power.

I was at Radioman School at the USCG Training Center in PETALUMA CA learning MORSE CODE and other radioman type stuff....
Not much of an interest in politics at the time.

I was very young 7 or 8 riding in my mom's '70 chevelle in Port. OR . listening to the radio address. My mom cried. It scared me.
