-People trying to be politically correct and say Islam teachers "tolerance" when it actually says in the Koran to kill non-believers

-Hizbullah

-various aircraft hijackings
-Madrid subway bombs
-MURDER

Oh, I love it! Islam is the first and last religion in the world - yeah, right! Judaism is 3000 years older, xtianity is 500 years older, bhuddism, hinduism, zoroastrianism... need I go on? In point offact, it's just another blood soaked primitive superstition that should have been swallowed up by education. However, like so many fundamentalists, they corrupted education to avoid losing their power base. Wake up and realise you've been conned. Where is there any evidence at all for a god? Right, there's none at all, so why suggest that he/she/it exists? Islam is still one of the most primitive beliefs of the present day. That is, most of the others have reformed themselves to reflect the knowledge of the era. It therefore becomes the most dangerous of religions.

A religion that can **** everything up, or make everything better, depending. Uh, it's a religion. Al-Qu'ran, Torah, the Bible, The Vedas, all of that includes so many questionable ideas, and so much room for bad, or fundamentalist interpretation, or old ethics altogether, that I can only say Islam is as large a problem to me as Christianity,and Zionism in the intolerance and ruler realm. I have religious friends of Islam and all the major religions, and they are great people, but their religions are so often used to oppress, and repress. My bf is ex-Muslim, from Iran. Do you see what Islam did to Iran? Just add Islamic to the country's name, and it becomes a horror story. Goddammit, religion is supposed to be personal!

The same as it was yesterday, a deep and ancient religeon steeped in history and tradition that teaches tolerance, peace and understanding.... recognises Jews and Christians and teaches its people to respect those that worship other gods.

I'm not a muslim, but this is what I believe it to be....

I believe there are a minority few that are carrying out atrocities in the name of Islam but really they are not followers.... just like there are a minority few in other religeons that carry out vile crimes against people....
