They were only there for a few years...and then they traveling. The television show is different from the books, and the books were different from their real life...but their are biographies about the 'real' Ingalls.

The beginning of the story is that the Ingalls are coming from Kansas to live i walnut grove Minnesota

Yes, for a little while anyway. Look them up online...there's tons of information on them out there. Also in the kids section of your public library you can find the books Laura Ingalls Wilder actually wrote...the Little House on the Praire series is based on the these books. The books are a diary of her life.

Sounds great to me. we are doing previous shaped giving, this three hundred and sixty 5 days. My spouse canned and made jellies & preserves all summer season & fall. we are giving nutrition baskets from her kitchen for Christmas: green Beans, Corn, Salsa, Pickles, Chow-Chow,blended vegetables, Applesauce, Apple Butter, Cherry preserves, grape jelly, peach marmelade,...and handmade rock candy!

they wouldn't have based so much of the tv series there if it wasn't a true part of her history.
