My boss came up to me and asked if my feet were wet and i asked why and he said because I walk on water... what does that mean?

I really don't think he was being sarcastic, he's always been super nice to everyone all the time.

So, I'm going to take it as a compliment...

He is complementing you. He is comparing you to Christ walking on water. You must have some good ideas at work!

Think about it, who can walk on water? Only "God," which means you're a "miracle worker. " So it was a nice compliment to your doing good work.

Now if you were told "You're walking on thin ice," that would be the exact opposite--you're close to loosing your job.

Depends on how he said it. He may have been complimenting you, OR he may think that you think you're above or better than others and think you "can walk on water" the way Christ did.

He is referring back to biblical times when Jesus worked on water. Because he is perfect. So he was telling you that you are perfect or he was implying that you need to stop acting like you are perfect.
