Take public transit.
Recycle.
Buy a hybrid car, or one that gets better than 30 mpg.
Support only leaders that promote these things.
I tried to make the answer short, but there are literally dozens of things that each of us can do. I used the ones that came to the top of my mind first.

If we are the main cause of global warming, the what was the industrialized society that caused global warming and led to the ice age 20 thousand years ago? We probably are contributing to it, but global warming, ice ages, etc, are all a normal part of the earth cleansing itself. It is normal, and frankly, there is little we can do to "fix" it.

Use less energy (electricity and fuel):
*Open the window instead of using a fan
*Turn off unnecessary lights
*If you can walk towards a place, then walk, you don't have to drive all the time, and it gives you needed exercise.
*You don't need to have the T.V. AND the radio on at the same time
*Don't leave the fridge door open
By saving electricity and fuel, you are lessening the demand for power supply, and the need for power supply is what's making us cause Global Warming.

Al Gore asked a similar question a few weeks ago. The answer now is the same as the answer was then: nothing, because we are not responsible for any significant proportion of any warming that may be happening.
