I saw that scene on tv but don't remember it on the DVD. did I just miss it?

yes, it's after the credits..at least, it was in the movie theater and the DVD too I think.

I only recently found out about it. I mean really, who watches ALL of the end credits? Not who I was watching it with.
Just fast forward through the end credits and then you'll see it.

Yes, it is on the DVD...AFTER the closing credits. You have to wait until the very end.
