What do you think...is start trek over or do you think they can resurect it again....if so, what should the new series be about?

Yes, they should have a new series set in the future. IT can be about time traveling and getting stuck in one period of time and trying to get back. Each season they can go to different parts of unexplored star trek timlines. Like star fleet acamdemt with kirk and spock, sometime after voyager, before the great romulan war. And then there can be twist half ay into the season where certian groups are using time travel to change history and stuff. Seven of Nine would be the star f the series.

Oh no, I love star trek. The enterprise show was not very good. They dwelled on the 9/11 theme too long.
They are making a movie that is supposed to be before Kirk. I dont know how that is going to fly.
They really need another series like deep space nine or voyager. They were really good.

Ha, it's never over. They may sit on it for a while, but it will be back in some form. They are already making a new Star Trek movie with all new characters.
They aren't making as much money as before, but even a "failure" brings in millions.

i think that they should take a break until they come up with something really strong. the original is classic, the one with captain picard was probably the best put together one, and then they just kinda got weaker and weaker. and thats coming from someone who loves sci-fi and really likes star trek. not enough to go to a convention, but i really enjoy them. lol. i realized i only really gained interest in ds9 and voyager when i had seen all of the other ones a hundred times. if they keep going, they need to do one thats not a prequal, and i kinda think they should steer away from trying to keep people interested because of hot chicks. i'm all about fine looking women, and the first 2 had some nice looking ladies, but they shouldnt be all about sex. theres a lot of other channels that are gonna do that better, so they should stick with trying to tell a good sci-fi story. and they should un-kill Data. that was just wrong. lol.

I was a huge fan of Next Generation, and at 1st Deep Space Nine; and every night it comes on G4 and Spike, so I get to continue to watch the re-runs.
however, they covered so much ground on those series, it doesn't seem to leave much left for them to continue with.
I would love to see another Next Generation Movie with all the original actors/actresses, though.

It was over with after Voyager.
Enterprise was more like a soap show from the episodes that I saw parts of. I don't think it can be saved. I heard a rumor though that there is going to be another movie made though.

I think the original series and Next Generation were the best. In my opinion, they went downhill after that. I was never really able to get in to the other ones. I think they should just let it go.

I wish they could continue with the concept, but I really think the time is over. I'm a Trekkie to my heart, but even I didn't watch Enterprise but one season, and I don't think I watched the whole season.

Hopefully since they are already in the works for the next movie, they will make a new series. I hope it is further into the future.
