wow the eagles, sabbath, zep and others all recorded that year, but I choose Don't fear the reaper by BOC

Officially, 3 songs shared the top spot in the UK charts for 6 weeks each.
Eurovision winners Brotherhood of Man with 'Save all your kisses for me'
Elton John & Kiki Dee sang 'Don't go breaking my heart' and ABBA's 'Dancing Queen'.
The last 2 also topped the US charts along with Four Seasons, 'December '63 (Oh what a night)' and Chicago's 'If you leave me now'.
Not sure who had the highest sales for the year.
