Girl, just go to her house and steal it back or move on. Not worth fighting about though.

Give her a bill for the top. She must have messed up the top or she likes it a lot. If she doesn't pay you for the top or return it to you in the same condition you lent it out - I would fade-out my relationship with her. Is she a really good friend that you've known for years - or just someone you call "friend"? You will have to decide. And now you know her a little bit better.

Again, the word, " FRIEND", has been used too loosely! You did not loan your top to a FRIEND!
You are all ready hurt by the deceit! Straighten your shoulders, keep your head up, say to your self, "For what ever HIS reason. GOD does not want me to have that top". Walk away from the top and the person that has it.
Never allow your eyes to focus on her again. That pig has oinked, do not oink back lest you too become a pig!
It is certain that nothing in your life is dependent on the top.
Pray for her but do not be like her.
You, your character, who you are, your smile, and your future are in no way associated with this loss. HE said, If someone press you to go a mile, go two miles, if some one steals your scarf, give him your cloak.
This issue has shown you an enemy in disguise, that was prepared to do you greater harm. Your lost TOP has exposed
the one that would do you much greater harm and remain unknown to you!
Smile and say, "Thank you GOD", for she is no longer a hidden threat to you!

I don't encourage you for robbing it cuz it's like what she has done to you. You have done ll things you should so I ask you to go and find a similar one if you can and never talk about it again. Even don't let her know you are angry about it however you might be. Prove her there are values more important than a Top or a T-Shirt. Some people think it is cleverness to do so with people yet it show how ignorant we are but there is still a chance to change everybody by good reaction to their bad actions... Good luck my friend

Show up at her house when she is there and tell her that you need your top back really badly.. even if it is dirty or whatever. If she has someting of hers at your house.. bring it with you so you can exchange.
If she says she doesn't know where it is at this very moment.....offer to help her look for it..
Otherwise, you've learned your lesson with this friend. I wouldn't stop being her friend, but you should now know that you can't trust her with your belongings in the future. You could even tell her that.. or not.. whatever you are comfortable with.

I've had some pretty bad experiences with people myself borrowing dresses, books, money and have never gotten them back...bid your fave top adeiu, sister. People like that never return stuff, or else, she would have the first or second time you asked.
Just never loan your friend anything in the future.

She doesn't have it anymore. She left it at your boyfriends house 4 months ago, along with her panties. Go buy a new one.

go over to her place and get it. tell her you want to take it on vacation, but she can borrow it again when you get back (just don't give it to her again)...
there's also a good chance she's ruined it and doesn't want to tell you. ask her to be honest, even if she has - you just want to know.
