My defination of popular is do you like who you are and do people like you for who you genuily are. Just because everyone is your "friend" doesnt mean your popular. I was a freshman in high school this past year, and i joined a bunch of clubs, i could want down any hallway and have 5+ people say "Hey Bryn" and give me a high five or give me a hug but that doesnt mean you are popular. If you have friends (doesnt matter how many) that truly geniuly care about you and you geniuly care about them then you are popular. One friend that you would do anything for and would do anything for you makes you more popular then 100 fake "friends"

Popular to me means being liked by the people who surrounds you so if it's just 2 or 3 friends if they like you, you are popular within your own group.

Liked practically by everyone. That is what I think right away, the word popular. But deep down after analyzing it, popular is what a person thinks is popular or cool. Like one person would think goths are popular, but another thinks preps are. It depends on the person.

popular, is being friends with everyone not one paticular group. being polite, listening to others, and the big word is respect for people around you. I was told after high school that I was popular I said ya right I wasnt a cheerleader or anything they said no but you were nice to everyone you werent stuck up and you never thought you were better than anyone else, people respected me.

to most people the popular group is the "in" crowd...also know as cliques/pretty, rich, mean people. but to me, popularity mean well known, friendly...the person everyone wants to be like (but in a good way) being well known doesnt mean u have to be rich or drop dead gorgeous, u can be popular in ur own way.. :D

for a website: one that is visited frequently and most people have heard of.
Basically something popular is well known and frequently used/visited

in my school popular is one of the rich skinny girls who get all the guys and all the girls want to be them but think that they are shallow, skanky, bitches who are self centered...i would know im one of them and everyone always is so nice to me at first and say all this sh it behind my back, but i guess its the price we pay for being popular

it means that i am rich, pretty, and bitchy....not everyone likes a popular person....most people are jealos of them....also they get all the hot guys!!! YAY!
