I just want to know people's personal opinion on the state of Utah. good or bad, doesn't matter.

I think Utah is like every other state in our Union from the standpoint that it has both good and bad points. There are good and bad people, good and bad food, good and bad environmental conditions, good and bad traffic, good and bad weather, good and bad religious ideas and good and bad opportunities.

I like visiting Utah. It's a beautiful state. I love going there to see plays, ski, hike, and etc. I've never lived there or spent more than a week at a time there, though. My views about Utah might be different if I spent more time there.
My best friend hates the people in Utah and he's mormon.

I passed through, a couple of times a few years ago. Spent one night in Provo and did a quick tour of Tabernacle Park in Salt Lake City. I only have quick impressions of the folks, whom I found to be very nice and friendly. Even in Tabernacle Park I didn't find any overt proslethysing or any of the odd Mormonistic hoodoo so many people tried to warn me about.
Again, just passing through, I found both cities pleasant and outwardly no different than any other US city.
The landscape was a study in dramatic contrasts. Salt Lake City was beautifly nestled against the mountainside, looking picture-postcard perfect. Just minutes to the West, the Great Salt Lake was as forbidding as any landscape I have ever seen. To the East, the rocky mesas and the desert around Moab looked like every cowboy movie ever shown on the screen.
But, I'm a California kind of guy, and, givien my preferences, I lilke it here.

i would like to go to utah to see the place.......i think it great that they are very regliosu and have a large family..........
it is better then my state wher we have old farts and welfare people
