That's tough! The Simpsons is a classic but Family Guy is better because it shows an even dumber family and it is extremly hilarious. Plus, Simpsons is getting kind of old.

Family Guy, no ifs ands or buts about it. Hehehehehehehehe....buts. Anyway, I seem to be straying from the answer at hand: The reason why? With Simpsons, though good, it is very easy to guess at what is going on or what will happen. Very few surprises await in the show. In Family Guy, you have no idea what will happen or when it will happen. And even afterwords you have to blink and simply say: "Did I just hear that right?" Family Guy easily brings the laughs yet still remains fresh. If it will be after being on as long as the Simpsons, we shall see.

Simpsons. Fam Guy was cxl after a few seasons then came back. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE FG, but when you've been around as long as the simpsons, you deserve respect.
