Nobody can breathe through their ears... your respiratory system has nothing to do with your sexual orientation.
However, your ear canals do attach to your sinuses, enabling both gay & straight people to blow small amounts of air through their ears. (Not enough to breath and survive.)
If you plug your nose, close your mouth and gently blow... you will fell pressure in your ears. This is one way to clear your ears when they feel plugged -- for example, at high alttitudes on an airplane. This is also why you should never plug your nose when you sneeze. You can rupture your ear drum that way.
Plus, this explains why ear infections often occur when you have a cold. The excess mucus from your sinuses can travel to your ear cavity. Where it collects and bacteria grows.
You learn something new every day!

Don't be rediculous. Physically there is no difference. Sexually (as in desires) there is a difference.
