Its just too bad that Israel is having to do the job for everyone else isn't it! Poor Lebanon.....maybe they shouldn't have harbored Hezbollah in the first place!

Muslims attack, Israel responds....Muslims demand that the U.S. stop Israel....Muslims attack again....Israel responds.....Muslims start whining to the U.S.
After the removal of the occupation of Gaza, Palestine lobbed bomb after bomb over the Israelian border. Who came to Israel's aid?? Not one muslim country! So, Israel reponds, and once again, the U.S. is responsible for it.

So, "LA" what you are saying is that the mafia is equivalent to Hezbollah? And that if Mexico only had 50,000 terrorists that wanted to kill all Americans, we should just back off?? I suppose you would ignore any nuclear warheads aimed at us too huh??

I agree, there is no reason for a cease-fire. After I read an english translation of the Koran, I read that the only time Muslims are allowed to make cease-fire/peace treaty is so that they can build up their strength and weapons. Just for everyone to put it into perspective:

What would the U.S. do if Mexico was firing off dozens of rockets every day into the U.S.?

What would France do if Italy was firing off dozens of rockets and destroying homes and lives into France?

What would Spain do if Portugal was firing rockets in Spain every day?

This is exactly waht is happening in Israel. After having rockets fired into their land, many each day, from all sides of the border, Israel is saying "enough". Shouldn't they have the right to defend themselves from terrorists seeking to push all of the Jews into the sea?

Lebanon has 'harbored' Hezbollah in the same way that New York City has 'harbored' the Mafia. This group is just there.

In the case of Hezbollah, the Lebanese Army/police forces is not strong enough to take out Hezbollah. So the group sits scattered throughout Lebanon, with about 5000 fighters, thousands of rockets, weapons, a few missiles, and who knows what else.

The population of Lebanon is about 3.8 million, so with Hezbollah having about 5000 fighters, most Lebanese are not fighting for Hezbollah. The manner in which Israel is attacking Hezbollah, by aerial bombings, not only kills lots of civilians, but would be highly terrifying to most of the people who live in Lebanon. This is the reason that the US is evacuating its citizens out of Lebanon.

Furthermore, Israel is bombing roads and the airport, so leaving Lebanon is not that easy. For the average Lebanese person, they have to sit there and hope they aren't hit by some Israeli bomb.

If the international community wants to send a peacekeeping force into Lebanon, to end the rocket fire into Israel and mediate this situation, it is something that should be given serious consideration. While Israel is understandably advancing its ends, it is doing so at the expense of a lot of innocent people. Even if international peacekeeping is not as effective at disarming Hezbollah, it may be the most humanitarian solution.

Israel's actions will also have another consequence. For 10 year old boys in Lebanon going through the bombings, there is the foundation for a strong hatred of Israel. In 8-10 years, from this group will spring the next generation of terrorists to attack Israel.

Another reason for a cease fire is to allow time to invite the disbelievers (non-Muslims) to "revert" to Islam. Then after a period of time the fighting could start again. Also the timing of the cease-fire may be significant.

Quran: 2:217 ...concerning fighting in the Sacred Months (i.e. 1st, 7th, 11th and 12th months of the Islamic calendar). Say, "Fighting therein is a great (transgression) but a greater (transgression) with Allah is to prevent mankind from following the Way of Allah, to disbelieve in Him, to prevent access to Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah), and to drive out its inhabitants, and Al-Fitnah (disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah) is worse than killing.

are u kidding?? is there only good and evil in your mind?? would u commit suicide for any reason?? do you know what it means to commit suicide, how sad u have to be to do so, would u have the guts? i don't have the balls, I'm sorry, and i always wonder what situation u have to live in to decide to blow yourself up because of "political" reasons or to kill other people, like all those Hezbollah and Palestinians do it down there. my life would be more important then their death. imagine how desperate u had to be to do that, just think about it, and then go on telling everybody they are just evil people, or nuts, or stupid, or whatever. don't judge it if u don't live there.

Do you really understand what is going on over there? Do you really think Israel is blameless in all the messes that exist in that part of the world?

Whenever groups like Hezbollah call for a ceasefire, they're really saying: "Time out!! You are thwacking us! We need a break, so we can go get better weapons."

Seriously its people like you who don't understand the world and its corruption. My advice to you is to educate yourself before you make comments on issues you have no clue about.
