I used to be married to a military man. So writing long letters (e-mails) is very easy for me. I have alot to say and alot of unsual and interesting things go on everyday. You just gotta notice and keep it in mind. Writing isn't for everyone. I've noticed that people who can't be honest usually have a hard time writing long letters. Secretive nature just don't like to talk much either. Depends on your willingness to share. I think.

Well its not just you. Im the same way. some people can write long emails cause they dont want the other person to miss a detail or they have alot to talk about. there are several reasons for people writing a long email. Whenever i try to write a long email i always end up writing a few sentences and give up.

Some people are just natural talkers/writers. I've written 20 page long e-mails just off the top of my head but if I'm writing to a lot of people at once (like if I find a bunch of new pen pals at once) then I will copy and paste an introductory note, adding a personalization to the top of each one.

yup .. i hav done that. sitting in my office with not much work and remembering an old friend. it was pretty long ... dont exactly remember, maybe 2-3 pages (i think must've been around 1200 -1500 words or maybe greater)
long mails are like blogs .. ur just putting ur heart out

sometimes the connection does break , can get very irritating. best is to write it in MS Word , and copy it to the 'compose' page once ur done ...

Why you would think it would be easier to write an email to someone you dont know rather then someone you do..

make sure you check all of your settings.
Or maybe it was just a glitch. I have had it happen both with just what I wrote and copy and paste. It is a real pain in the butt when that happens. Sorry you have felt the frustration.
