Hi. I'm having swelling in my left leg and ankle. The right one is absolutely fine. No pain with it, though. It started last week for 3 days, then went away but now it's back. I called my ob but they're not in the office today...has anyone heard of swelling with a blood clot that comes and goes like that? I don't have any other problems with swelling (other than my belly, lol) Thanx!!

Instead of asking a question like this online, you should call your doctor's office back and ask for the on-call doctor or nurse to return your call ASAP. He or she may very well recommend that you go to the emergency room. When it's a health question that affects not only *your* health, but also your baby's, I would seek an expert opinion from my medical care provider.

I'd go to urgent care if I were you. because you are pregnant the chance of getting a blood clot is higher than normal. Get it checked out ASAP and hopefully it isn't a blood clot.
