Why do I see none of the supposed actors on TV interviews?

No, it was not real. It was, however, based on a very real legend of that area. You should know when you see those actors on TV that it wasn't real. They disappeared, remember? It was fun to watch, though. Did anyone else get motion sickness with the movements of the camera?

The girl Heather is in a Steak n Shake commercial. And I saw her on some sci-fi show a couple months ago. Sorry.
Look up the Bell Witch in Adams, Tn. That's a true story. She still haunts the property today.

Does anyone else feel like they just teleported back to the near past?
Why would non-professional actors be interviewed about a movie they made years ago?

I thought the same thing, but no it is not real. They did that as a way to get people to go to the movie. It was great and they made it on a very tight budget of next to nothing and made millions. Very genious.

not real.. and the reason of why you don´t see the actors is because they were hired as a unrecognized actors... so I guess that movie is probably their one hit wonder! (And it´s part of the marketing you don´t see them.. and they make you believe they were for real)

No, the people who created it tried to sell it as real but it's not they said in the end.

No, its fake. They just happened to make a huge grossing film off of a ridiculously small budget.
