Depends on his age. Boys don't have their final growth spurt until they are in their late teens to early 20's. 5'8" is on the shorter end for a post pubescent male but I wouldn't say shrimpy.

If he's 8 months old that would be VERY tall but for older boys it could be normal--unless he's a shrimp.

My son his 12 and his 5"8 is preety tall for his age.

If the boy is four years old it is tall. If he is near adulthood - it is within a normal range.

i think it's tall. my dad is is only 5 foot 71/2 in. so i wouldn't worry.
P.S. it's tall for a BOY, but short for a MAN.

How Old? Average if hes younger, below if hes an adult.
