Well, I certainly don't live in a war zone, but there is enough coverage of the war in Israel/Lebanon to make anyone squirm. As if that wasn't enough, we have to worry about those wacky North Koreans aiming those $1.98 missiles they have at us. Oh, and did I mention Iran and it's pitiful saber rattling? How do I cope? I basically read the newspaper to avoid the talking heads on TV yelling at each other to advance their own political agenda. And, when reading the newspaper, I try to read only the news, and not the editorials and columnists. This way, the news comes in a bit more focused and I can zoom in on reality rather than dwell on hysteria.

Show support for your home team and wear your colors proudly.

War anxiety should be a non-issue. If you're afraid to leave your house then you've already fallen victem to something worse than war can even bring you.

War can kill you... But much worse is a fate of fear and loss of freedom.

I try to stay informed. I have a life and I keep busy living. I can observe but it is not in my power to really effect the conflict in the mideast.

What anxiety? Unless it is happening outside my front door, forget it. Why worry about things you have no control over? Very stupid.

Quit thinking about it. If someone bombs your neighborhood, it's time to worry. Til then, get on with your life.
