I have had a pain in my lower area...it feels like the musclues are pulling. I usually do strech my legs and do squats and it feels better, but Im just wondering if there is any other exercise for me to do??? I know some people say walking...but that doesnt work for me. Im 37 weeks and the last ultrasound I had the tech said that the baby was dropping so I know the pain is from that. Anyone have any ideas???

My doctor said swimming is the best thing. Think about it you are not putting any pressure on your back or legs.

Stretch and go for walks. A little goes a long way. Check this out: http://www.pregnancywithoutpounds.com/ I didn't buy the e-book, but I receive the emails and the author Michelle Moss writes back...very nice lady. Best wishes and congrats! About the dropping, I place both hands below my belly and gently push up. After a while the baby moves up. It works for me and baby is still strong healthy and kicking like a crazy lady!!!

My doctor suggested belly dancing, but at 37 weeks I'm not to sure if you could. I did it up until I was around 35 weeks, it hurt a lil when I did it, but the doctor said it was fine. You could also try yoga. I have herd that is great wail pregnant no matter how far along you are.

I don't know about exercises but there is a thing called a maternity belt or pregnancy belt you can get that actually helps. I used one on my 2nd pregnancy as my son was very big and dropped early. It is actually just a big belt made of elastic that goes under your belly and around over your hips. It helps lift the baby up so there isn't as much pressure on the pelvis. And it is perfectly safe for the baby. My doctor recommended it for me.

Continue doing like you are and make sure you have everything for the baby. sounds like the baby is getting ready to make his/her grand entrance into the world (well within the next couple of weeks)

Don't start any new exercise while pregnant without checking with your doctor. This can be dangerous. What works for one pregnant woman is not safe for all.

Yoga is pretty safe and helps stretch the muscles. You can even find pre-natal yoga classes and books.
