Two people who use my forum ended up getting married and she moved to Australia, so in that case it worked. Another friend of mine ended up meeting the woman he married and moving to Canada.

As long as the people involved are HONEST, responsible and CAREFUL, it has as much chance of working as any other social contact. I have several friends that I've met through the Internet and have met in real life that I've gotten along with well enough over the years to keep the friendships going.

But the big factor is giving it time - learn about the person and if you ever agree to meet, do it in a public place.

if it stays just online..then no..coz u could grow out of it anytime or get too busy in ur life but if u choose to develope the friendship outside the internet then u have a chance..

hmm,it depends,my longest was like 6 months,but it was the guy who stoped writing,without a reason
yea,if u guys get along alright,it may last a long time
