When I was 11, I changed schools, from a college to a state run school. I was miles ahead of the new crowd. I was top of my class and doing maths with 14 year olds. However, because I began to get bullied and regularly beaten up, I began to act stupid and give the incorrect answers in my homework and classwork. It worked, I was soon accepted by all the other idiots. It did not effect me too much in later life, as I always knew that I did in fact know the right answers all along..................

I am sure you are smart, so no need for playing smart. Be yourself, don't pretend that you know what people are talking about if you really don't. You will just look stupid then. I am sure there are things you can talk about that maybe your friends don't know nothing about. Don't play stupid or smart, just be yourself.

Everyone has played dumb or played smart at one time or another.
I've played one or the other down in Texas (long time ago) to keep from getting my a$$ kicked by them loud-mouth Texas boys.

Sure, you have to play lots of roles depending on who you are talking to and what you think their expectations are. I am sure you are not as dumb as you say. After all, you are smart enough to know how best to interact with other people
